Offering the tools to redefine and harness the power of transformation through KINDness

  • Harnessing Transformation

Are you feeling the pressure of “transformation”?

We live in a culture of transformation, surrounded by messages of magical possibilities if we just do that next “thing” to spark the transformation of our purpose, bodies, leadership, status, productivity, relationships…exhausting.

These “possibilities” start feeling more like obligations—we not only can achieve transformation, but we should and must. In our striving, we become exhausted, overwhelmed, disillusioned.

What is “enough” and when did it stop being fun?

Tidal Creations offers a counter approach to get you off this treadmill of transformation.

The KIND approach reinvents transformation as a personalized design process—not a “fix-all” result or end-goal. KIND is a holistic and sustainable approach to making the culture of transformation your own.

Walk away with a whole new skill set: Identify and release. Rewrite and own your story. Define your “enough” confidently. Go with the transformational flow. Make waves.

Get clarity to define a guiding, inspiring new sense of purpose for yourself and those you lead through the KIND approach:

Know your pull

Identify obstacles

Narrate your story

Develop your creative voice

  • Learn about the culture of transformation to empower your decision-making.

  • Gain skills for identifying and addressing obstacles.

  • Rekindle your drive and creativity through strategic storytelling and goal-alignment.

  • Find your pull—the guiding theme to your story that lights it up.

  • Foster a healthy and sustainable form of “transformation,” personally and professionally, that you can come back to any time the tide shifts.

FIND YOUR PULL

Why Tidal Creations?

Tidal Creations embraces the many connotations and metaphors associated with the ocean and creativity (and life). I believe that everyone is a creator of some kind and only when we “create” can we actually feel fulfilled and content. While we are pushed towards constant productivity and “doing,” the reality is that we experience ebbs and flows in life.

We accordingly must carve out that place for ourselves (and then others) through respecting the changing tides to find our pull.

Similar to how the moon causes the tides through its gravitational pull, we must also find our pull—the difference for us creative-types and high-achievers is that our pull can shift. Good and bad changes can mess with our flow, so we have to learn ways to rediscover what “pull” offers a constructive, guiding, and inspiring rhythm to our lives.

Oceans create and destroy islands in an ongoing cycle. We, too, can come to respect and harness the power of transformation.

Here, we respect the ongoing need to rediscover the creative “pull” that fosters more inspiration, healthy productivity, and connectedness.

**For you writers out there, this is also a play on words based on my love of writing and desire to spark more “title” creations.

About KINDness

I developed the KIND approach through synthesizing over a decade’s worth of my research in the realms of social psychology, identity, authenticity, and self-help. I have additionally faced my own related struggles, leading to lessons learned through counseling and both writing- and life-coaching. By integrating my professional academic research with my lived experiences, I created this research-based approach, intentionally grounding it in the social sciences while ensuring it still has a heart. While potentially simple on the surface, there is great depth in the process. Additionally, KINDness can be applied personally, professionally, and in combination.

While an acronym, KIND also stands as a reminder for what I hope it helps to spread in the world: KINDness to ourselves and KINDness to others, as this is the way to elevate all.
